The Knee knows best

Bit disappointed as I wanted to do W7R3 this morning but I need to listen to my right knee and I think it needs an extra rest day. I have run every other day i.e. Mon-Wed-Fri-Sun-Tues-Thurs-Sat-Mon, since Week 1 so I think my knee just needs a bit more rest! Not used to all this activity!

Also looking out the window it’s raining...that’s not my excuse, I’m excited for my first run in the rain which looks like it’ll be tomorrow anyway!

Good plan...easing back sometimes pays huge dividends... and also, have you upped your strength work as the runs got longer... exercises for all the parts of your running body ?

There are some great ideas on the strength and flex forum including a re post on knees.... quite a few folk have been suffering lately:)

Well done you and enjoy the rain tomorrow... it's just wet :)

Thanks Oldfloss, that’s a useful post. I have started some strength exercises but more made up than following a direct video guide so that one will be useful!
