I love running in my bargain Marino wool top that I picked up in Aldi in November. I just didnt love the grey colour. (It's been fine to hide it under my jacket, but meant I would never take the jacket off - nor matter how hot I got!)
I finally thought "just dye it!" So picked up a lovely Ocean Blue sachet - problem solved...... except it turned out not to be blue at all! I could see the mixture looked very purple, but I was 1/2 asleep so just went ahead & plunged the top into the solution.
Yes it's def purple!!
But, it's a nice purple & my Flipbelt is purple & I've got purple trimmings on my running leggings, my shoes are black, teal & purple.
So although I didn't choose it, I've now got corordinated gear!

As a graduate, you're probably on a "purple streak" too ... don't misunderstand me, I mean wearing your outfit! ... or do I as the temperatures have been pretty cold for the UK? Love the colour.
My husband bought me a thick purple hooded fleece for post race comfort. Can't wait to test it out 🙂 Purple is my race colour. No, not my face! My running pants etc 😁
I like purple. It suits me. You just gave me an idea. I also had bought a Merino Wool top from Aldi for my husband to use when riding his motorcycle if we go in the cold weather but he didn't want it as he wouldn't use it, so it is mine. Grey is not my colour so a dye is on my shopping list. Thanks for the tip.
