I completed this run without stopping but was glad when it finished. Run 1 wk 8 wasn't as difficult for me.
I did my run at about 6pm shortly after returning from a two hour walk in the forest. I also wore a different pair of trainers (which are heavier than my usual ones). Not sure if either of those or combination were to blame or if it was just my state of mind!?
However still feeling really positive as ran for 28 minutesππββοΈ. I hope you are all well. I'm looking forward to run 3, will revert to my lucky trainers ππββοΈπ

You finished it!....well done. I've got my final run I'd WK 8 tomorrow morning...looking forward to it ...I can't believe how far I can cover in 28 mins...πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈjust so glad I started C25K.π
Congratulations on completing run 2 of week 8, however, correct me and I apologise if I am wrong, did you not run run 1 of week 8 yesterday?, if you did that is risking injury by running on consecutive days, anyway, after one day off running its onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 8, not long now until you graduate.
Hi Al no I definitely did run 1 week 8 on Sunday. Thank you for your encouragement. The finish line is in sight! My goal when I started out was to exercise regularly and I've already achieved that πββοΈππββοΈ
Hi! I did R1W8 today - hooray! Having failed to complete R3W7 twice, I decided to move on and slow down and it worked a treat. I think I was getting over confident and going too fast. I also remember that my first run in new trainers was difficult a few weeks back, so I think a change of footwear definitely affects your running too. Well done though! We can do this!
Well done. I did this run yesterday too. I didn't have any new trainers or go for a two hour walk but I found this much more difficult than W8R1 too. Not sure why but atv least we made it. I have two days off before my first run of the week and maybe that is why it always seems easier. Just think, this time next week, we will be looking forward to graduating π
Well done, you did it though despite feeling the difference! ππI feel like a few of the others (and the Daleks come to think of it!).... Lucky socks, lucky tops, lucky leggings - Must not deviate! π Load of nonsense obviously, but whatever works for now! ππββοΈ
Heading out for this run shortly - feeling bit nervous now after reading all the comments π¬π¬. Great you got through despite the trainers. I'm in awe that you ran after a big walk - I'd have been wrecked after that!!! Here's to us all successfully completing W8!
Well done you. I've got my kit on but have sat on sofa for an hour watching TV and trying to talk myself into going out for Wk8 run2. Help me!! I need motivation... And it looks like its gonna rain.... Just another excuse.
The rain will keep you cool and assist you. Get your favourite playlists ready and go for it, you'll smash it, you did all the hardwork in earlier weeksππββοΈππββοΈ
Well done Cockneymick! I just ran W8R2 this morning and also struggled; this is the first run in the program that I seriously contemplated not finishing- but somehow I did. The humidity is high in my area today so that likely didn't help. I really think that this is more of a mental game for me now as opposed to a physical challenge- which is truly surprising to me as I NEVER thought I would be able to run for 28 mins straight when I started this. So glad to have the encouragement of this forum. Keep up the good work everyone!
