Week 8 run 2.

Running in the rain! Went faster today and got up to 4.1 km covered including the warm up/cool down walks. Should I be including the walking?? I am running as fast as I can go and maintaining a pace, increasing it for the last 2 minutes. How can I reach 5km's?

Well done on progress so far. But don’t run as fast as you can go at this stage- you should be running at a comfortable conversational pace. That will build up your stamina and reduce chance of injury.

Despite the name, the aim is to run 30 minutes at the end, not 5 k
