Loved this run today! π Was a bit wet to start but was refreshing and didnβt come to much. Settled myself in for the long haul, going really slowly as per. First 5 mins went by in the blink of an eye. Then got myself engrossed in my tunes, the trees π² and people watching, so I didnβt obsess about the time! π€£ Next thing I knew I was half way there. Started to really enjoy it more then and the second half felt quicker. Hadnβt had the energy to up my pace, on the second half of my last run when the idea was floated by Sarah! But this time, when she suggested it for those with energy to spare, it felt like a treat for being so reigned in with the rest of my run and I really enjoyed it! That whole minute! π€£ So chuffed!
Congrats! I did that run today too, and found for the first time that I also took in my surroundings more. I think it's a necessity to get through the longer runs. See you in week 7! π₯³πββοΈ
