Managed to run week6/run 3 today after giving up last Friday. I repeated run 2 on Wednesday and it went well. Today I just started a bit slower and kept saying βyou can do thisβ. Also decided I didnβt want to repeat week 6 again π. Onwards to week 7. Oh and it was easier today as it was not so warm !
Made it π: Managed to run week6/run 3 today... - Couch to 5K
Made it π
Well done π
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 ππΎ π
Awesome, well done! ππ»
I was a repeat of W6R3 today too, we got this now! Looking to see the difference by the end of Week 7 with how I find this run as I enjoyed my route so will probably do the same one for the next 3 runs!
I live in a hilly area so Iβm stuck with a small number of routes whilst I get my stamina up to get over some of the hills. Today I had two little hills for the first time, it caught my breath but I got it back to continue!
Well done on the hilly routes π. Itβs good to have a bit of hill to change the tempo. Iβm going to try a different route next week , Iβve been hiding from people so far but now Iβm hoping I wonβt want to stop if people are around π. Good luck ππ»
Iβve found people to actually all be nice, itβs quite nice waving or saying hello to other runners no matter how red-faced I am π
I did get overtaken by a fast walker this morning though which was a fun new experience and then some guy was literally lapping me while he was sprinting around a field I was going at snail pace around! It kept me motivated to not stop! π
Keep at it, we will get there π₯°. I did C25k a few years ago and went on to do 5k and 10k but injuries time and age got in the way ! Lockdown and reading posts on here mad3 me think maybe I could do this again. Iβm chuffed that Iβve reached this far. Hereβs to next week ππ»π
