Omg. It was hard. The hardest yet. I wanted to stop so many times. Why is it getting harder! Literally from the beginning it was a struggle. Not felt like this ever on my C25K journey. Now I’m stressing out over Saturdays W8R3. BUT I did it and I was so pleased I didn’t stop. I can do this....but it’s bloody hard! 🥵

Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.
As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.
I had a similar run on Tuesday, sometimes you’ve just got to push through it if you can. And you did, one more ticked off, you’ve only four to go now, you’ve got this 😊
It's infuriating isn't it but those first ten minutes -or with my battered and abused carcass lmore like 12 to 15 - don't seem to disappear when we graduate
It's to do, as I understand it, getting the "machine" into proper gear but all I really know is I wish I could be in "cruise control" from the get go lol.
It's the magic that waits after the "Toxic Ten" that makes it all worthwhile though
Oh, I’ve had a few of those runs 🤣 unlike you there though, some of mine have beaten me on the day, so great job! Your runs are currently the same length, but the weekly load on your legs is still increasing, so it can get a little bit tougher in the last weeks. I bet your next run is smoother going, as that weekly load rises, the additional in the next run is less of a percentage. Relax before you run, set off a little slowly to get through the more normal toxic 10, ease into your pace and have an amazing run on Saturday.
The end of the plan is close now... then you can have a bit of a break by taking some consolidation time where you don’t add to your weekly running... it starts to get easier then!
