It’s the first 10 minutes of your run, which can sometimes feel the most uncomfortable as you try to adjust your pace and relax your breathing! Usually it takes this long to properly settle into a run. Hope this helps!

I don't think everyone suffers from it, if you don't know what it is, you are one of the lucky ones!

It takes about this time for the body to adapt to the new workload, during which time you accumulate a debt of energy which needs to be repaid before things reach a stable state.
It's also why you are flushed for several minutes after you complete the run. The body takes a few minutes to stop "the burn" and get back to a resting state.
