Bluetooth problems

Has anyone resolved the sound quality issue with Bluetooth headphones? Music is fine but the C25k voiceover crackles drops in and out. Wired headphones are fine. Is it an app problem?

No problems with mine at the moment, are your phone and headphones fully charged? Maybe restarting your phone may help!

Done all of that and even got the supplier to send me a new pair as I though the earphones were duff. I did find a thread about this somewhere and it looks like it’s a fairly common problem. Just wondered if it had been resolved.

I did c25k last year with Bluetooth headphones and didn't have any problem (Android version, Bluetooth 5.0, Jo as a coach), have you tried changing the coach?

i remember now i also got the option at some point of using HD sound (might have had another name, it's been a year), I tried that but the sound was actually worse, I don't know if over bluetooth or in general as i didn't try without the headphones or with wired ones, i had to change to another coach and then back to Jo to go back to the normal version

I’ve tried to find a way of switching off the ‘enhanced sound quality’ but there doesn’t appear to be a way. Perhaps changing coaches will help.

Welcome to the forum.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

I can't help with the headphones though.

Enjoy your journey.

I have had this problem .

Changed to podcast instead of app but some people don’t like the music.

Don’t if this helps you at all.

Has anyone ever resolved this? It's really annoying - I bought a decent set of bluetooth headphones specifically to use with this app and they play all other audio with no problems at all. But the C25K audio sounds terrible, especially at the start of a session.

I've installed the 'Higher Quality Audio' which made no difference, and tried changing trainers - all to no avail. I'm running the iOS version on an iPhone 7.
