As the title says really, I managed the run ok...in fact, I really enjoyed it for the most part. However, after the cool down walk I felt a bit dizzy and sick. It only lasted 5 minutes or so. I feel really good about running for 30 minutes non-stop though.

Week 9, run 1 felt great but felt sick and dizzy for a while afterwards
Well done on the run.
Were you running hard?
Had you drunk 2.5-3 litres of fluids in the preceding 24hrs, as recommended in the guide to the plan?
Were you running in full sun?
If none of the above apply then maybe you are coming down with something.
I did push myself in the last minute, but that"s all. I was really hot (I always get really hot), although run on a treadmill, so not in full sun. I think I was well hydrated. I really hope I am not going down ill - only went back to work today - in a Primary school!
Hopefully it was just a one-off strange things that happened!
Thinking you are well hydrated and knowing that you have actually drunk sufficient amounts .........a minimum of 2.5-3 litres............in the preceding 24 hours are completely different things.
If you want to run then you need to control your hydration, as pointed out in this post healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
It is not optional.
