..... and the legs won! The last minute was challenging, legs saying “stop” but actually kept going. I am so delighted to have done this, now running more than walking. Who’d have thought! To repeat on Wednesday...

How did you find the 5 minute runs? I’m quite apprehensive about those haha!

It was surprisingly fine!! My legs did feel a bit tired towards the end of the second 5 minute run, when I had the one-minute-to-go message, but by then I was thinking “I’ve done so much already…” and slowed down (again!!) and finished it. It was my head saying stop, stop, so I just tried to be determined. The step from 3 to 5 minutes was much smoother than I expected. As they say, trust the programme. Now I’ve done it once, I will be able to do it again - hopefully on Wednesday!!

You can do it😁😁😁

That’s brilliant! I really like the idea of keeping it slow throughout the runs, it helps so much!

I guess week 3 seemed daunting before starting it, and out of them all so far I’ve found week 3 to be the best week (despite ruining my knee🤣) so bring on week 4!!!

You’ll get there! Hoping your knee copes today and it’s only a temporary set back. 😊

Just got back from my last run of week 3! Went so well! I felt like at the end of the last 3 minutes I could’ve kept going!

Also ran a different route today and didn’t realise there was a hill involved but it was nice running back down it on the way back😅Time to tackle week 4 on Wednesday!!
