Just finished week 7..... well I say finished, truth is I could only manage 22ish minutes this morning. I donโt know if it was the heat or because I took a different route? I had a really good run 2 this week as well so I felt super confident this morning. Now I am worried about week 8! Should I hold off and try week 7 again??

Wow thatโs amazing you can run for 22 minutes! I am only on week 4 and I am definitely not able to give you any advice, but I am interested in what is the right thing to do as I am expecting to struggle. Have you always completed all the runs fine before now?
Thank you ๐ Yes, I have never had to cut a run short before. I am hoping itโs just because I did a different route and had to weave in an out a bit more to comply with social distancing. Good luck with your runs! And donโt say youโre โonly on week 4โ, thatโs amazing too!
Please dont feel deflated....22 mins is brilliant. You can do this....There is no harm in doing that run again...maybe do your usual route and see if that makes a difference. I am on week 7 day 3....well doing that later was surpose to do that this morning but failed on that one ...lol.....However it doesn't matter....the good thing about this program is that you can repeat runs as many as you like untill you feel good to go onto the next one..It all in your own time!!!!
Ok update.....
I went out and did that run about 9am (Week 7 day 3) ..... Slower then the other 2 runs this week...but i dont care...done and dusted.....Week 8...bring it on!!! However i think i will stick to my evening runs

My run 3 could of easily been the same outcome as yours. I was wishing away the last ten minutes, it was a very real mental test to keep it going to the end.
I think any weaving around people and having to focus on anything else around me would of been the breaking point.
It was hot & just upping the pace by a fraction really put completing the run in jeopardy.
So try the run again, start a tad slower than last time. Dig deep and see those last few minutes out.
Stay positive. See you in week 8.

It sounds like you are doing really well with the program and lots of factors that might have affected your run today.
Whatever it was donโt focus on it too much and get back out there.
I tell myself that no matter how I feel I canโt stop, just slow down. Just got to keep moving. Sometimes I am soooooo slow but it really doesnโt matter as long as those legs are going.
You will be really surprised how quickly you recover.
I personally would do the run again. There is no rush and it will give you the confidence.
Best of luck! ๐ช๐ป
