I did my second run after two days rest, my legs are still struggling! I’ve been stretching before and after but feeling like I’ve got legs made of jelly since 😂
Does this get easier as time goes on? I also struggled in the heat today, I had to stop running early twice and felt bad about that. It was so hot though. Any tips? Hope you’re all keeping well and safe xx

Yeah I think I hadn’t quite realised how warm it was until I started running, the weather has been so up and down recently. Ill go earlier next time or check the weather app, thank you 😊
No worries, I went out later than I had planned today too and the heat got to me. 🥵 You'll get there don't worry! We'll done for getting up and doing your second run even with the heat.
Early days for your legs, don't stretch before running as your muscles are cold and you do more harm than good so keep them for after and check out warm up exercises for runners, they're dynamic like leg swings in a doorway for support, get a foam roller they're cheap and great for sore legs and drink loads of water especially on run days but also in general, lastly eat some protein after the run to help the muscles recover , the good news is it gets better and easier gone luck enjoy
