Week 9 run 1 ... and still in the garden

Hello, today I completed my 1st run of the week 9 (I am so chuffed at this). I’ve very much enjoyed this experience and doing something for myself. It’s been so good for my mental wellbeing. However I am still running in my back garden but would like to run outside.

In the garden it’s easier to take off the layers of clothing and just throw them when you get hot. I’m running first thing in the morning, but how do you know what to wear? whether it’s cold, hot or raining.

When I run, I always assume it is 10 degrees C. warmer than it is. So if it is 12 degrees when you wake up dress for 22 degrees.

You wear thin layers so that you can take items off and tie around your waist or leave in discreet areas to pick up later. Most Athletic wear is light, to either keep you warm or wick sweat away from your skin so keeping your cool.

I'm also a garden runner. Cold winds make clothing choice difficult for me. Plus I've got tangled up in the earphone cable when removing clothing!
