Well I ran yesterday after not going for a week and I really thought I wouldn’t manage it but I completed the 28 minute run without any pain. I have still got shin twinges in my left leg but no worse than before. Will leave it again now until the end of the week for Run 3 xx

I remember an old exercise programme recommended tapping your foot while standing up to help prevent shin splints, might help?
