Week 9 1st run 🏃‍♀️

This is the look of incredulity at having completed 30 mins without stopping 😲 when I finally stopped I had a seat on a blue splodge which is close to the ground and did wonder if I would get up again!! Am so so surprised getting to this point and the barriers which made me really hesitant before and which are still there have not been an issue at all - asthma, hypermobility, 3st overweight, knee and ankle injury - am so thankful for all the encouragement which helps to keep going!! Not at 5k yet but getting there 🏃‍♀️☺️🙌

Lovely pic! The finishing line is in sight.. enjoy your last runs to graduate- at least the wind should be dropping a bit. I graduated yesterday and I didn’t get to 5K but I thought I’d leave something to aim for in consolidation 😜

Yayyy well done for yesterday - must be lovely having Graduate beside your name !! I think its clever the way it says C25K so that there is a goal but we can achieve that at any point getting to this stage shows us we can go further. I feel no pressure re the 5k just delight to even be talking about it!!

I'm really encouraged by this. I'm struggling more at/with Week 9 than any of the others. I've managed Week 9 Run 1 but not got into the rhythm of every other day with it when I have with pretty much all other previous weeks. WELL DONE!

Hang I there!! I went out at mid day today for run 2 - it was really hot and as the last run was hard going I anticipated the same but in actual fact the coaches 5 min mark, ten min mark, 15 min mark came so quickly I was surprised as that's not happened before - I finished and actually thought for the first time I could go a tiny bit further. I think for all of us there is a point where the slog eases - hopefully that will be on your next run !!

Ps I ran past a man on our local moor lying in the sun with not a stitch of clothing on !! I wasn't sure whether to stop and report it but I didn't want to start the run again so kept going and passed him again on my circuit - still there and enjoying the sun !!! That may have distracted me from the run ahead !!!!

Thankyou Eveb1 for the encouragement (and, as others have said, the great photo!). It was certainly very hot yesterday so amazing you went out at midday. And the man on the moor is a great story ... Lockdown is - er - obviously gradually lifting! Keep going for Run 3.

It doesn’t matter if you have had a slight problem doing this week as your previous weeks. As long as at some point you get up and go out again - that’s what matters and as you are in your last week this alone shows that you are able to do this
