So after a good few rest days I tackled week 3 again, I got through the first 90 seconds, first 3 minutes and last 90 seconds but didn't feel I could push through to the last 3 minutes. I was in nowhere near the pain from last time but I could feel a tinge so I thought best to just pull back, have a good walk and a stretch and try again. I think week 3 is going to take me a few goes, which is absolutely fine. I'll probably end up taking 6 months to finish this whole thing haha but I don't mind - I'd rather get there slowly than not get there at all.
I'll do my next week3r3 on Monday and try and do all 4 runs, or at least attempt the last run. To be fair once I start running, I am absolutely fine so looking forward to tackling some of those longer runs in the coming weeks.
I'm looking at this programme as a lifestyle change so just got to keep going and eventually I'll be running blocks in no time.

Think I’m with you. I’ve done week 2 three times with 3 rest days in between each run. However I mentally and physically feel ready finally for week 3. I may never reach week 9 but then again I might! I don’t care how I pace this out really it really is an amazing program for beginners like us. Good luck!
