I would repeat w2 if you're happy with that. I remember getting terribly sore calves in week 3 so i slowed right down and it went away after a couple of really slow runs. Its your body's way of adjusting...so go slowly or repeat...its up to you...just keep going! Im a graduate +4 weeks and am now running over 6km and have c25k to thank for keeping me sane through lockdown! Im still overweight but its certainly moving...in the right direction. Keep at it!

Did you finish the run though... ? If you di, then imply slow down and move on, and yes, there is always slower:)

You can repeat if you wish, of course, but by moving on gently. relaxing and landing lightly ( kissing the ground with your feet)... and see how you go.

Hi just take it easy make sure you stretch before & after, that helped me. Some days it’s an effort & sometimes it’s a breeze! Don’t worry about repeating runs there’s no rush ! Keep going x

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.

Enjoy your journey.
