Repeating the weekly runs has helped me be more prepared.

I have started week 3 too. But before I embarked on it I did a lot of repeating of the pervious weeks. I did week 1 for 2 weeks and week 2 - I did that 5 times. It will take longer but I feel more confident about tackling week 3. It’s still been a challenge but the gradual build up makes me feel more prepared. It’s just an idea. Repeating the previous week. You have done great to get this far. Good luck. 👍

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Nothing wrong with repeating as long as you don't get "stuck" on a week, which does happen to some.

Enjoy your journey.

I've just started week 2 run 1 and struggled a bit, I've considered whether it was the done thing to repeat weeks and I'm pleased to find you've done exactly that

There´s no harm in repeating weeks at all.

But just to add that Josh Clark, the American guy who designed C25K, created it especially for his mum, with the idea that it would be done in 9 weeks.
