I struggled somewhat with last weekās runs and as feeling tired, so took three days off before starting this week. Today, as usual, I was doubting myself, but went out. I wonāt say it was easy, but I tried really hard to maintain an easy pace, kept going ( helped by the inspirational Jo) and did it!
What a boost, really helped my confidence and reinforced my belief in the C25K programme. Beginning to believe I can do this!

You CAN do this !! Great stamina to keep going. I found W8 quite hard too but now I can almost touch the finish line - keep going youāve got this šš¼
Itās a great feeling isnāt it? Those days when youāre not feeling great about it, but you still get out there and do it anyway. They give, as you say, the best boost to your confidence. Iāve got 8/2 tomorrow morning, Iāll keep your comments in my mind as I slog round in the (too hot for me) heat š„µ
I donāt envy you the heat! But good luck. I may have to take two days off again- gale force winds and heavy rain forecast for this bit of North Western Scotland!
Crikey! Iāll be grateful for the heat then! Weāre never happy with the weather, are we? Bit like Goldilocks and the porridge - too hot, too cold, just right š. Iāll post tomorrow after my 8/2 so you might get to see how it went. Donāt worry about taking an extra day or so between runs, Iāve done that a couple of times for different reasons, and it didnāt have any negative effect on my progress. You certainly donāt want to be out there with the risk of falling branches or other wind blown debris. Good luck, and keep at it šāāļø
