So I'm on W2R1 and my stamina has built up nicely as you'd expect. But my question is, is it normal to have hip pain that gets worse after a run? Will I be ok to have a rest day then continue? Thanks 😁

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

Try to minimise impact.

No, it’s not normal...but it’s very common! Hip pain is often a sign of a muscle weakness elsewhere in the body. A sports physio could work that out for you (but not possible right now). I can share with you something anecdotal though, and it certainly won’t hurt you to try! I fixed my hip pain by strengthening my glutes. We need strong buttock muscles to run efficiently. Simple squats can help, but there are a whole range of glute strengthening exercises you can do on your rest days. Google it, or head over to our Strength and Flex forum for ideas. 👍
