I completed C25K last week and all has been fine other than some pain in my knees. I’ve always had slight issues with them but it always seems to have eased with regular exercise. It’s totally eased off in my right knee but my left seems to be getting gradually worse and with things being as they are at the moment, I can’t go to the doctor with it so just wondering if anyone has any useful advice. I’d be gutted if I had to stop running now.
The other thing is that after my first run of this week (week 10) I was left with pain in the top of my right foot, which eased in time for my run yesterday. Now however, I’m really struggling with it and had to limp when I got out of bed this morning. It eases off after some flexing and pointing but after a while it’s pretty bad again.
Has anyone experienced similar things?
Please don’t tell me I’m just falling apart...I already know that 😂

The guide to the plan includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help and are relevant to all runners.
Are you wearing good shoes?
Do you stretch after every run?
Have you done strengthening exercises?
How is your hydration?
The foot issue is difficult to assess, but following the PRICE principles will help.
