Had to share – week 8 run 2

Now I know it’s not about speed or distance. But this morning, (including the warm up and cool down as I have always counted these), I somehow did 5.2k! 💪 absolutely astounded how I managed this, especially as at times I felt super slow. I found the 3 minutes really tough a few weeks ago. It just shows how this plan totally works!

I always include the warm up and cool down too, but I’ve not actually run 5k at all yet I’m hoping by wk8 that running for 28 minutes it will be 5k. I’m only getting to 4.4k, I’m not a runner but a plodder, slow and steady to enable me to keep going x

That’s still really great though! This was the first time I’ve got anywhere near this. I feel really slow when I’m going along but maybe I’m going faster than I thought. Slow and steady wins! 🙂
