I don’t want to lose weight, I just want to tone up. I don’t know anything about fitness as have never done it before. Should I do some toning exercises on the same day as when I run, or should I do them on the rest day? Would yoga be too much to try and incorporate too? Or is it necessary to not do any toning exercises, will the running eventually tone me? As I say, I really don’t want to lose weight as I’m slim anyway. Thank you

Well done for starting!
It is quite important to do exercises to support your running. Keep your eye on the forum because there are often links to other exercises posted
You could go over to the strength and flex forum for ideas. Yoga is great to build strength and balance and goes well with running. If you look at the yoga with Adriene channel on YouTube there are loads of videos to try.
Running will help tone you up. Like you, I didn't start running to lose weight, but to remain strong and 'lean' into my 60s. You will tone up as you go through the programme inevitably, but it's good to 'cross train' too! Find what suits you, there is no one size fits all exercise plan. Exercising will help your runnong and make you less injury prone.
Good luck.
Hi Issy. I love pilates and yoga. Loads on YouTube. Great for strength and stretching those bits you didn't know you had!🤔. Keep running, stay safe 🥰

Welcome to the forum.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
C25k will not make you lose weight.
It is recommended to do extra non impact cross training on your rest days.
Enjoy your journey.
