Goodness me... I'm now in W2R6 because I do not feel ready to move on to W3 yet as I have groin or hip pain on the left hand side - I cant quite tell. Does anybody have any top tips about how to get rid of this?! I want to move forward but it can be painful and sometimes the pain shoots down the front/side of my leg too. I'd be grateful for any tips!

In normal times I would say get the advice of a physio.
Some are still doing online consultations.

My experience.
I am no medical expert but I will share my personal experience. Prior to starting C25K I had 4 months with severe pain in the crease where my leg joins my body, to the extent that on many days I could hardly walk from one room to the other. I also had pain down my leg at the front. I was convinced I needed a hip replacement as it also seemed to give way at times as I stepped fprwards. It is a family weakness and my sister had her hip replaced at 53! On a whim I went to a McTimoney chiropracter who also did sports massage. He diagnosed a muscular problem, which additionally hadnpossibly had caused swelling which then put pressure on the sciatic nerve. He worked on muscle pressure points and in 2 treatments I was fine and started C25K a month later. I am very conscientious about doing the stretches after a run and have kept up the self massage by using a tennis ball to massage my buttocks and back. I have also just got a roller to help massage my calves as they were a bit tight. It has really helped. I have no medical knowledge but I don't think a bit of self massage would hurt....although you may be wise to phone your doctor or 111 to check. GOOD LUCK!
