What Nike or Adidas shoes would your recommend for running? At the minute I’m just wearing my NMDs and they’re fine W1R2 but setting my self the goal if I carry this on to the end of week 3 I’ll treat to some proper shoes 😊 I’ve got small feet so can fit in kids sizes(cheaper) if anyone knows any good ones🙈

Not exactly. The best shoe is the one that fits. I use Asics but that doesn't mean they are the best. They currently are for my feet but may not be for the next guy.

Asics don't fit my feet....too narrow, so brand recommendations are not much help.

Thank you this is helpful, a few people have said ASICS are on the narrow side which won’t be good for my wide feet😊

ASICS gave me shin splints. You can’t say the best style. Everyone is different. You need to get fitted properly.

There are newer shoes and much more expensive shoes so look around online for the best deal however...always try them out in a shop before you buy!

The best shoes are the ones that fit you perfectly well which means you need to go to a specialist shop and get them through gait analysis guys. Ignore brands, ignore prices, look for the fit.

What brand of running shoe maybe right for 1 person, but may not be right for another, we are all different. So you shouldn't just buy running shoe's because they are Nike, Adidas or any other brand, or because they're a certain colour, you should only go by fit.

I've gone through loads of different brands and types of running shoes in the past, so really has been a bit of a voyage to find the right ones for me - the ones that fit me and are suitable for the way I run. Be prepared to try some an not like them before you find the ones you love.

I have Asics GT1000 & I thought they were ok, but I just got some new Brooks Ghost 12 & they are amazing. Made me realise that the Asics are too narrow for my wide feet. My first run today in the Brooks & I felt like I was running on air in comparison with the Asics.

Thank you it’s helpful to know ASICS could be on the narrower side as I have wide feet 😊
