Only long runs from now on! Week 6 Run 2 Done.

I finished week 6, run 2 today (2 x 10 minute runs) which means no more intervals, only solid runs of 25+ minutes left!

This is the fourth time that I have attempted Couch to 5K, in the past I have always quit at week 3 or week 4 when it tips towards more jogging than walking. It's a shame that it took a global pandemic for me to stick it out, but regardless I am so proud of myself.

For anyone starting out, don't be daunted by how quickly the course leaps up in weeks 4 and 5, just slow your pace right down. It's about building up stamina, rather than speed. Give the 20 minute run at the end of week 5 a try, worst comes to worst you stop and repeat the week until you're ready.

Best of luck on your runs, wash your hands when you come in and stay safe!

Thankyou for your wisdom! It feels strange to slow down but seems to have helped so far. But nervous about week 5 but absolutely determined not to be beaten by the thought of it!
