I finished week 6, run 2 today (2 x 10 minute runs) which means no more intervals, only solid runs of 25+ minutes left!
This is the fourth time that I have attempted Couch to 5K, in the past I have always quit at week 3 or week 4 when it tips towards more jogging than walking. It's a shame that it took a global pandemic for me to stick it out, but regardless I am so proud of myself.
For anyone starting out, don't be daunted by how quickly the course leaps up in weeks 4 and 5, just slow your pace right down. It's about building up stamina, rather than speed. Give the 20 minute run at the end of week 5 a try, worst comes to worst you stop and repeat the week until you're ready.
Best of luck on your runs, wash your hands when you come in and stay safe!
