So I was feeling smug. Even though I’d never run before. I got all the way through C25K and 2 weeks consolidation injury free. Have now run for 30 minutes 8-9 times. But yesterday I picked up an injury. Right at the end of my 30’ run a jarring pain in my lower left calf. I had finished my 30’ so didn’t run on it (I couldn’t have anyway). Feeling slightly discouraged now. Advice please. I’m 66. How long should I leave it before running again? Any treatment other than rest?

Injury ☹️
It is not advisable to run with any injuries, wait a few days until the pain goes then gradually start running again, slowly at first.

I did something similar, started with knee problems about 4 weeks after completing the programme.
Turns out that I was not wearing the correct trainers.
Did you get gait analysis?
If not it's worth considering once your injury settles.
Of course that's a bit tricky in the current situation.
Don't try to run with it, that will only keep you on the IC for longer.
Take care 😊
