Tried a Garmin Cadence still workout today, a bit tough but I can see that upping the cadence can increase pace while keeping bounce down. Felt a bit weary today, not helped by Tia trying to pull me back down the hill I was trying to conquer without walking or stopping, usually I have tended to turn and run back down when I was out of breath but, despite my 10kg counter weight I kept going!!
Trying to up the pace!: Tried a Garmin Cadence... - Couch to 5K
Trying to up the pace!
Do you only weigh 10kg?
Sounds like a great run
My garmin is making me cross every time i go out the vo2max goes down a bit more and it now says i’m as fit as the average 79 year old, if i get any unfitter and older i will need a zimmer frame
I miss having a dog so love reading about you running with yours
Haha I wish! Yes, despite her sudden stops and determination to go in the opposite direction I wouldn’t be without her. She’s also a really good excuse when I go slow. Garmin can be a pain, despite covering 3.5km it says 480 steps, I must be a giant! A very skinny one if I have almost 10m strides and weigh just 10kg!!!
Sounds like a great training strategy 👍😉
Hello Phdgranny, you’re sounding like a ‘proper’ runner now 😉, running with extra weights as well and uphill, making me feel tired just thinking about it 🤗
Oh, a helpful buddy trying to enhance your workout! Sorry you were tired today. But, achieved your goal anyway. Sounds like time for a well earned rest now 🌸😊🌸
