How do I get myself motivated to start running?
Download the one you app. I found it addictive. Set your 3 run days each week. Don't make excuses to not run. Just do it! It's a life changer. Oh and post on here regularly 😁
Morning,I took me several failed attempts to leave my door ,but after I did finally push myself out,I became hooked,I thought I could never run outside, but I did an I do every other day,an I feel lost on rest days,,ur increasing fitness an endurance will motivate you from there , write down why u want to start running an read it every time u make an excuse to have a day off or start to make excuses in your head ,it's only a run sun is shining an we only get to go out once a day at moment so make the most of this time an use ur couch 2 to 5 km app. It really works ,good luck an enjoy just getting outside .

This forum will provide advice, support and an occasional laugh, but motivation has to come from you.
If you want to do it, then you will. If you don't do it..........then you probably don't really want to.
What's stopping you?
Enjoy your journey.
Make a list of the reasons why you want to run. Think about what running will give you that sitting on the coach will not and use that to motivate yourself. The rewards of C25k go far beyond the improvement you will see in your fitness, but you won't know if you don't try! ☺️ You owe it to yourself to give this a go. Now off you go and write your list..... 😊
Hi, remember to tell us once you completed your 1st run! Is it going to be today? 🤓
Get ready and step out the front door 😉 you may think you are not ready/motivated/in the right mood but just get out there and see what happens. Make sure you follow the app and do your warm up walk. When it is time to run start slowly dont go to fast and try to remeber you are new to this and are doing great to have started! Make sure you stretch afterwards! Good luck 😁
All first class advice 👍.
In the end, it's down to you. You are the only one stopping you getting your running shoes on and getting out the door. Good luck 👍
