I’m only W2R3 in but I actually can’t believe I’m still loving it 😁🥳!
I was running every other day but started getting a sore knee so took an extra day break. Made a huge difference to my next runs.

Great work... keep loving it. Listening to your body is good... and there’s the strengthening work to run alongside the plan for when you’re feeling good! Enjoy week 3.
You are one run ahead of me and I feel exactly the same😀🥳 feeling good is infectious and you have spread a little bit of that with your post.
Keep going and hopefully we will graduate in the same week👍👏👏
Some additional knee strengthening exercises might help too
That’s for the tip, I did these over the last few days and it’s already helping 😁
I started off with no problems but also got sore knees after w2r2 , extra rest days sorted me out too. It means I’ll take longer to complete the programme than I intended but that doesn’t matter, that’s better than getting injured and not completing at all. Keep loving it and take the extra rest when you need it
It feels like a lifetime away but I cant wait for graduation 😁. but still plodding along with a smile for people (from across the street 😁)
I always took two rest days - minimum! I was determined not to get injured. It worked for me. 👍
There are some great knee strengthening exercises on the stretch and flex forum, and on YouTube.
You’re clearly more keyed up than I was 😁.
I just jumped straight in with only the 5min walk as my warm up 🤦🏽♀️, I’ve learnt my lesson though. I’ve been doing some knee exercises over the last couple of days and can already notice a difference 🙏🎊!
I’ll definitely check out the YouTube ones.
