Well done Daroo that's someone looking rather chuffed with themselves 👍👍
Excellent stuff Daroo.....👏👏👏👏👏👏🥇🥇🥇🥇🏆🏆🏃♀️. Big celebration required and then you get to choose where you take this next.....speed? distance.....bit of both? There is loads of advice on these forums to get you through....but for now 🥂 Cheers 🙂
I’m going to start to increase my speed to run 5K in 30mins. I’m only doing about 3.5k so I’m going to slowly aim to run 5K in whatever time it takes, then aim to increase speed 😁
It took me about 18 months to get up to 5k in 30 minutes. I built up distance much more quickly and easily. Nice to have a mixture of runs, slow, quicker, longer, shorter...they all help with different things and keep it interesting. I am getting on a bit in terms of age though . 🙂
Hi Beachcomber 66 . Hope you don’t mind me butting into your post to Daroo . I ve just graduated a fortnight ago and no where near the 5k distance☹️ . It’s good to know that I m not the only one and I don’t feel so pressured now knowing it took you 18 months😊 . I m not a speedy person . 😳I m just thankful for running for 30 mins 🥴.
These consolidation runs are enough for me at the moment 🙈. I am still a 🐌 xxx
I intend to remain a proud 🐌!! I was 66 years old when I finished C25k and worked out that increased distance would be more likely to be attainable than any huge increase in pace. It took me 5 months post C25k to build up to 10k through Ju-ju's plan on Bridge to 10k. I only got to a 30 minute 5k by starting Park Runs...having others around helped me to discover what was possible. You just enjoy your own journey 😊
That's the way I did it. I graduated in August last year and did my first park run, so 5k, in September. That was a push and took me around 38 mins. However I carried on and have now done 22 park runs and 5k is my 'regular' run. I run 2 or 3 times a week and just this week did 5k in 30 minutes and 51 seconds! That's good enough for me and I am celebrating that as a 30 min 5k. Huge well done on your graduation, take it slowly, enjoy your runs and have some fun.
Congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.

Keep running, keep smiling
Congratulations to you Daroo on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K, well done, you look so happy in that photograph, you deserve to be very proud of yourself 😊 🏃🏾 🎓
To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the April graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated 🎓 🏃🏾 👍
Of course you did, we all knew you would 🥳👍👏
Congratulations, celebrate well tonight and enjoy seeing where your new running legs take you. Well done 🎉🎊💪🍾🥂🏃♀️🏃♀️
Congratulations!!! Now time to celebrate 😉🍾
Well done! You must be feeling fabulous!! X
Great job... lovely picture... nice graduate badge too!
Congratulations again... now you can achieve anything.
Thanks, I was all annoyed that my regular park is now locked so went out to run near my house and it was just as nice!😁🏃🏽♀️
I was reading about running the other day and I read that a setback is only a step back if you don’t learn from it. Here you’re proving it to me in a way I wasn’t considering... you took a setback and refused to step back, another route found too, so it’s a step forward... thanks for this little extra in my thoughts.
Yep I now have found a new running place- only 5mins from home and beside the gym I belong too.. once it opens again. So I can stop using my car to work out and use my feet instead 😁😁
A hidden gem... and only a warmup walk away! I’d be thinking when that gym is open again that’s warmup walk, run, cooldown on the recumbent spin bike (I like that one) then stretches and some strengthening work... that would be a great workout session.
And the gym has a fancy spa area too!!!
This is sounding better and better... does it have a little sweet reward machine too? If it does, I’m there!
Awesome pic Daroo. You looked thrilled. Well done 💪💗🏃♀️🎉🎓🏆🎊☀️. Welcome to the consolidation club.
I do look happy :))) I actually felt emotional when the voice in my ear said time to stop! I did it 🎉🎉
I had to stop and have a cry I was so surprised to have stuck with the program on graduation day. Your pic reminded me why I am still going out on consolidation runs.
You and me both finished today! Many, many congrats

Well done! That a lovely photo, I can’t wait to get mine
Very well done. Congrats. You deserve it.
Big congratulations!!
Well done Daroo, great achievement. I’m on week 8 run 3 and I also run about 3.5km so I was really enlightened when I read that is what you do too. My aim is to do a Park Run but I am nowhere near ready. First I need to complete C25K and then take it from there. So pleased for you for completing it today. You must feel absolutely fantastic!!
