Asthma and running -tips?

W1R1, kept going with only one moment where body made me stop and take my inhaler (took it slower after that)

I'm thinking of doing week 1 twice to make sure my asthma can cope before I start upping running time. Has anyone with asthma done this or have other tips?

Not letting the blasted chronic illness stop me 👊👊👊

I too have asthma and that’s one of the reasons I’m doing this to increase my aerobic capacity. I find the cold air we have had this week irritates my tubes as I’m breathing heavily through my mouth. I’m going to try to keep going but will pick a milder day slow the pace and try breathing in through my nose. Keep going you’ve done two more runs than me 🙂

I apparently have asthma but not to the extent where I need to regularly use an inhaler, so I haven't been bothered whilst running. If you think doing week one again is a good idea then that's what's right for you. The good thing with this plan is that you can nip and tuck it to suit your every need 🙂 Go slower and your breathing will regulate and it'll get easier.
