First injury😟

Another beautiful day here in Portugal. My fault, I was fiddling with my ear buds and didn’t spot the drain so went over my ankle. It was stomach clenching painful but I kept going. I got to about 4K and it was too much so I stopped. At first I was hobbling but as I walked back it’s eased off a bit. I’ve got an ice pack on it and am sitting with my feet up ( I’ve a tough life). How long do you recommend I rest up. I’ve been running every day as there’s nothing else to do. I honestly think it keeps me feeling positive I’d be gutted if I have to rest up for a while. Thoughts would be welcome although I guess I know my ankle will be the one thing I need to listen to 😉. Keep safe folks.

Rest up until you have no pain or swelling.

Having only graduated a few days ago it is inadvisable for you to be running every day.

There is a link in the guide to post C25k running healthunlocked.com/couchto5... to an article which recommends that you do not run on consecutive days until you have a minimum of six months regular running on your legs. I would recommend that you build your running legs for even longer before starting daily running.

Take care.
