Can’t believe it completed at 6.45 this morning after a rubbish weekend. Convinced I wouldn’t manage 20mins but gave myself a talking to and so pleased. Going to try W6 in a couple of days although not sure whether I should repeat W5 to consolidate. 🏃🏻‍♀️🙂👏

Well done! If you managed today, I'd carry on with week 6. Just take it slowly as some people have found it more difficult than they thought it would be.

Thanks for that I think I’ve learnt slow and steady does it!

Me too! I'm hoping speed comes later but if not, I can live with being slow and steady :)

👍

Nah, you definitely got this :-)

Try week 6, you've got nothing to lose, but be careful as the transfer back to interval running/walking does take some people by surprise after the solid 20 minute run.

Let us know how you get on with week 6 run 1 :-)

Well done Alasdair87 we have similar names and similar running habits as I went out to complete W5 R2 at 5:15 this morning. I really had to push myself to manage it to the end of the first 8 minute run, so although I'm trying to remain positive I am wondering how I'll cope with R3. All being well I'll find out on Wednesday, I plan to try and tun even slower. I'd say that you should be ready to jump straight into W6 now. From what I've read on here, that's more of a mind over matter week as apparently going back to intervals can be quite confusing. Good luck with it & let us know how it goes.

Sure it will be fine it’s amazing how the mind interferes making us question the amazing progress we have made to think we can’t do it. Also I do run quite slowly BUT it is running never thought I could!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, go on to week 6 immediately as you seem OK, just be careful with the first 2 runs as it's back to interval walks and runs, after that there are no walking breaks.
