Just ran 3.56 km and I should probably be more concerned about losing weight and feeling good while I run and be less concerned about my Pace In My Time I know that I should be focussing on endurance and building up my endurance slowly and comfortably but my type A personality LOL wants to do well in the prior athlete in me and competitor wants to do well

Define good? Too subjective. Just keep running.

Good, meaning to finish a 5km race

That pace would bring you in at about 42-43 minutes.

As per Tash said just keep on running and enjoying it you're doing brilliantly 👍 let the weight worry aboutsl itself you're getting exercise and it'll come off at it's own rate

If that is the pace that you just ran at, then that is good for you.

Is it good for an 83 year old woman?

Is it good for a 20 year old young man?

Is it good for a forty year old with chronic asthma?

They are all on this site, so comparison is pretty futile.

C25k is recommended to be run at an easy conversational pace, not at your fastest pace.

You ran 3.56km that is awesome!! Pace is irrelevant, you ran that distance, remember you are only in competition with yourself!! If you're running, you're an athlete, remember that xx

Did you like it and finish it comfortably? Then it’s good.

I am adding...did you have fun? There is plenty of time to improve your personal timing once you have the distance under your belt. 👍

Yes, good. I was around that last month and now average run is around 815 per km. Steady away. The wind has been a friend and foe in equal measure. Let's keep going, I dream of a sub 40 min 5k. Yesterday was 40.58 so pretty pleased with progress. I use Runkeeper appto give me 5 minute updates on pace. Trot on.
