You won't be a newbie for long..... 9 weeks 27 runs you'll be a runner ๐...
Noooooo you don't run everyday, you've gotta get those rest days between runs let your muscles get some R &R before the next run
Hello Tinkerbell70 welcome ๐ the rest days are a vital part of the programme and are as important as the running part, congratulations on starting C25K the best advice I can give is to stay hydrated and take it nice and slow, good luck with your journey ๐๐ช
Hi Tinkerbell. Welcome to the forum. One of the admins will be along soon to post you the guide to C25k with all the advice you could possibly need about how often to run and how to keep yourself injury free. In a nutshell, you run alternate days, taking a rest day in-between, so a running week on C25k is really 6 days if you follow the plan like that. I take one rest day between two of my runs, then two days between another, so my run week is a calendar week. There is room within the plan to adapt it within reason, so that if you need to take extra rest days you can.
Do read the guide when it is posted to you. It is invaluable. Good luck and enjoy your runs.
The biggest step is to start. Best of luck with your journey and 'trust the programme'.
