That explains not running yesterday but not ignoring strength and flex also... Got up this morning and just went outside and ran down the road. Done is done. Still challenging but way more interesting than the treadmill or going round the track.
Went to the gait analysis and a clinic called Good Form Running. Found I land in front of hips. Overstride? Was advised to run to 170 bpm music to force a smaller stride that would land under hips. Tried it. I’ll know after a couple runs if it improves the aches and pains. It doesn’t feel natural yet.

How on earth do you find music to a 170 bpm rhythm 😳. I don’t even understand the statement let alone how to go about solving that little scenario. . I just put on what I like listening to . I found the “running music” to thumpy in my head . I prefer to sing along ( in my head not out loud 😳🙄🙉) ....... please let us know what music you have to listen to which is classified as 170 bpm 😳👀 🎵
I search ‘bpm 170’ in Amazon music. Pandora has bpm ranges, and I understand Spotify also has workout music by bpm. It wasn’t my absolute fav music, but I’m training myself to make the smaller/faster strides to train my stride.
Just googled bpm running music . Blimey I can’t run to that 😳🤣!!!. I m sticking with Post Malone ‘s Hollywood’s Bleeding album . .... or Maroon 5 .....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. There s no worries about me having to make smaller strides cos I m only 5ft 2 and got little legs 🦵 .....🤦♀️. My aim is for longer strides 🥴 cos I can’t seem to cover the distance 🤷♀️..... still got week 9 to complete so onwards and upwards 🙄.
