I moved outside as the snow melted. Not really a winter outdoor person unless campfires andπ· are involved. And it snowed while I ran. I just started laughing. I was warm, my winter tights kept falling down and I was running slower than my old auntie can walk.
Running outside was mentally hard. You have to think about going on vs the treadmill just drags you along. The school track is a good first run. Flat with no obstacles. This outside run was hard.
The coffee shop is 2 blocks away and Iβm sitting with a coffee now, feeling glad to have survived. W7R1: not easier, but great sense of accomplishment.

Still not a runner in my heart but hoping if I do it enough, it will feel natural and enjoyable. Now it's just a chore I do because I am not comfortable in my body, and starting to get signs of ageing like stiff joints and high cholesterol.
