Evening again, much better weather, no wind or rain. Temp was still around 4 degrees...
Best run so far. After the debacle of the ParkRun on Saturday it was great to get this one under my belt. Gentle inclines/declines... much more my current ability level.
Counting down the runs until my first 5k 'race' on the 15th March...

Last night was the first time I realized how far I have come. It was probably the first run that I can say that I actually enjoyed. I have been 'enduring' up until now, feeling compelled to do something after a couple of heart attacks... but last night, I just slipped on the lycra and trainers, and ran for fun.
I am so thankful of all the warning messages and posts on here, because it would be SO easy to push things too far & too fast after a good run. I am resisting running on consecutive days, and keeping the 10% rule in mind for when I DO decide to start going for a bit longer. (Which I am thinking about the end of April for...)
