Well I completed it.. Just! My knee is so painful I'm dipping when I run, really don't think I would manage a 5 min run in wk 4, only just managed 3min.

Think I might do wk 3 again. Does it matter? Should I see a physio about my knee? It's on my weakened leg, (withered calf muscle, weak hamstrings & gluteus, due to a prolapsed disc 14yrs ago).

When I see people running it looks so easy n relaxed, will I get to that point? At the moment it looks impossible.

I really don't want to quit, I know I have a weakened leg and lower back troubles. I'm doing all the right things, warmups, stretches etc.

Is there any pros out there with advise.

Im following a physio on you tube to make sure I'm doing the stretches correctly.

I've had a disc problem n spinel stenosis for years so I'm always cautious..

I won't give up without a fight.

Advice advice

Definitely see a physio if you can. The knee pain will be to do with weaknesses in other areas of your body (as you have outlined) and a physio will be able to give you exercises to strengthen specific areas to help you with those issues. They are very good at that sort of thing, and it will be money well spent. 👍 If you can, try and find a sports physio. I managed to find one who specialised in lower leg issues, and she really sorted me out when I had tendinitis in my knees.

And you are right not to give up! There will be adaptations you can make to help with your existing issues. 👍
