What a wet start to the day and I felt more restless as the day wore on, so by the time midday came, I decided to just get out there as the wind got wilder and wilder!
Went inland to get some shelter and was going to do some dynamic exercises after warm up so looped round via the park but it was so muddy, huge puddles, tufty grass, and everything not right just like Goldilocks so abandoned that and just ran and ran and ran.
Onlookers must have thought I was a nutter, zigzagging around the park and as I emerged up a bank to the prom ran into friends battling into wind, and peering at this demented mud spattered apparition. No attempt could be made at coolness or composure.
I so enjoyed myself and ran all the way home π‘. Trainers are looking trashed however. Oh I love π this running lark π

Thank you π. It was a reluctant start but once I pulled on the kit, it felt good to launch out into the gale. I am still in disbelief that I am so hooked!
π€£It must be down to the feel good endorphins! I read an interesting article yesterday about exercise and the brain π§ but will need to dig out the link . Super chuffed- I like that!
Great fun and the view looked better than me by the time I took the pic! The wind is still howling as I write. Accuweather says gusting to 84kms π¨π!
Thanks Mig. I love the view especially the big waves π and it lifts the spirit- I donβt ever forget to be grateful. Thatβs a bit zen sounding but coupled with running πββοΈ there is nothing better yaaaay π
Maybe Adrienneβs yoga π§ββοΈ is rubbing off on me! Another addictive pastime π€£
We postponed a trip to Bristol that was due today for next Saturday as it wasn't very nice today and at first I was disappointed but now I am ok about it.
I went out for my walk at 4pm today where it was windy and a couple of showers but I was fine.
Well done in taking on the weather. Just about to set out on my run this morning and it's wild out there. Hope I enjoy it as much as you did! If there's porridge when I get back that would be lovely ππ
Good luck on your run πββοΈ and itβs certainly sunnier where I am- hope itβs the same for you. Go enjoy it and youβll be ready for that porridge! I love porridge too especially with extra bits π
Love it! I had a similar run yesterday trying to dodge puddles and navigate through the mud!! I was determined not to stop! Love this running lark too! πββοΈπ
The path on edge of the park had huge puddles that I couldnβt avoid unless I leapt into the brambles! The grass was a quagmire. I love your determination too! Go girl πββοΈπ
