Due to do wk5 run2 yesterday but been in bed with flu. I imagine I'll be on my feet by the weekend. What to do? Try it or go back a few sessions? Thanks all.

If you’ve had a week or more off I tend to just see what I can do, I’ll maybe repeat one run, but I test myself to see if I can run through the breaks! Do what u can and go from there :)

Hello fellow sufferer! 🤒

I've missed my run yesterday with the lurgy and no doubt will miss Friday as well. But I'm only at the beginning (W2) so will just carry on from where I left off.

If I were you, I'd carry on from W5R2. Good luck!

If this is flu you will need a couple of weeks to recover. Having a virus saps your strength and running too soon will set you back. Even if it is a common cold don’t push it until you are ready. You might try stepping back a bit in the program to see how you feel. It’s the long game that matters.

Interesting. Reckon I will probably wait until 1st March in that case and have a good rest.

As stated in the guide to the plan, you lose no discernible condition in the first two weeks of non running. After that you have to go out and see what you can comfortably manage.
