The Flu

Morning all, since completing week 6 last Saturday I have been laid up with the flu.

I’m just starting to feel better now, can you advise when to get back out there and where shall I pick from, I feel I would struggle doing anything like 25 minutes so maybe drop back a week or 2?

I’m gutted as I was due to graduate on Xmas day, now gonna be well into the new year.

Thanks

Michael

I’m in the same boat. Very annoyed, but it’s just one of those things. I’m thinking of having a few more days rest as still not 100%. I tried running though it and hurt everywhere afterwards. Was just going to make sure I’m tip-top, then carry on from where I left off.

Yeah same I think, might give it a few more days rest, good luck

MJ , get really well before you try anything too fast or too far, go for a walk or two to see how you feel, drink loads and rest

The runs can wait a bit longer and you have come so far that once well you will run through the rest of the programme with ease

As it states in the guide to the plan, you lose next to no condition in the first two weeks of non running .

Recover fully and pick up where you left off.
