Dying to do W3 R1 but.....

My other half is delayed at work and I can’t leave the kids to get out... He’ll be home in an hour but I was so hungry have just demolished a big plate of curry gah! That means not going out till 9.15 tonight, not sure I’ll still be in the mood then - should I risk going earlier do you think & battle through a full belly?? I really should have left the naan bread 😂

Maybe going out 2 hours after a curry and nan bread is a bad idea. You could end up with stomach pain or being sick . Your run will wait 😊😊

Yes I’m sure you’re right, I’ve been really looking forward to the run 😔

Lol, running after a full meal of anything is not advisable, just wait for no more than two hours after you have finished eating that big plate of curry and nan bread, yes with that in you, at least two hours.

No harm on going outside in the cold wind at that time of night, enjoy your run. 🏃🏾

Thanks! Yes I’m pretty stoic and don’t mind cold wind & rain, and the dark would be nice to hide the horror of my first 3 min run 🌙

Don't make it too dark, run on a well lit place, some parks do have lights although most don't, the park 3 minutes from where I live has lights because it leads from one part of the area to the next, but to be honest with you I have never ran after the sun sets.

Wait till tomorrow, you don’t want to 🤮 Plus it’s nasty out there 🥶

Thanks - yes you’re right, lesson learned! The curry was good but not good enough to miss a run over 😭

Thanks for the advice- yes it’s definitely good to be cautious and I wouldn’t go near a park - too risky. The first time I went out was after dark and I kept to my (quite long) road - did pass the same people once or twice embarrassingly, but was ok!

You can run after eating I think. Sometimes I do sometimes I don’t. I just go slower.

because it was less runs so it felt quicker? I can’t believe that was it. I got myself so worked up!
