Week 3, run 1 this morning was a total disaster. Did my usual stretches and warmup before run but both of my knees were really painful. I only managed 90 seconds of light jog and 30 minutes of brisk walking. This is so disappointing for me as I always thought I hate running but start loving it immediately after my first ever run and I don’t want to give it up but worry about my knees. Due to chronic disease I am on strong medications for life which has caused arthritis in all of my joints but I really want to be able to run 5K by the end of the year.
Any advice anyone?
