Did it!

So after my struggle with W5R2 , I thought I’d repeat it. Had to go to the gym due to storm, but put the incline to 1 as advised . Was feeling apprehensive after my last attempt, but although it wasn’t easy, I actually managed both runs . Realised one reason I might have struggled the previous time was that I forgot to put my music on! It’s obviously very important! Thinking I might repeat this run again as the next one is 20 minutes and I’m just not feeling confident about that yet. Hopefully just taking it all slowly will get me there ...

Exactly the approach that I've taken with week 5. Counted my first attempts at runs 1 & 2 as trial runs, and subsequently really enjoyed them this time round. First crack at run 3 on Wednesday - looking forward to it in a slightly apprehensive kinda way!

Good luck! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️👏

I did the 20 minute run this morning and keeping a slow pace is definitely the key. I didn’t really jog that much faster than walking pace but I managed to keep going. As they say, speed can come later!

You can do it!

Congratulations to you NevereverrunB4 on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
