Well chuffed to bits I am as today I completed W9R3. I was almost emotional! I have used two long songs to get me through the 30mins runs and they have worked a treat, just as I flag my fave bit comes in and donates an endorphin! Going to have just a little break to help my Plantar Fascitis, my knee ligaments and my poor nips! Then I will rewind a couple of weeks and see if I can get the speed up a bit, then aim at 35 mins and hopefully 5k!
Please can I have badge/certificate

My sympathies with the sore nips. There is a product called NipEAZE which are essentially small round plasters that stop the running. Or Lanacane cream.
Well done Jonno34! Congratulations Graduate! Well done! 👏🏽👏🏽 👏🏽🎓❤️
Well Done you !! What songs did you use? I’m trying to listen to music and stop “counting steps” or “estimating time” , I want to just switch off and run 🏃♂️
It might be just me but the Genesis Medley works too. Great double drum sound which just lifts me then calms down. I like the long songs, they draw you in and all of a sudden 17mins is gone..
youtube.com/watch?v=0CQa4rO... It is on live in Berlin album also. I get lost in the drums from about 8 mins onwards with 2 of the worlds best albeit arthritic drummers complimenting each other. Ok I am a bit of an anorak!
Consolidation then, lots of it, to keep on building up those legs and stamina.. then maybe C25K+ podcasts.. and check out the post from IannodaTruffe .. What next!
Congratulations on your graduation! How wonderful! I like your idea of having a couple of tried and tested tunes so you can gauge exactly where you are in the run. I might nick that idea if you don’t mind! 😜
I think (know) I’ll blub when I graduate. Still a little way off though!
