So not ran since November and got to wk7 run1 but due to shin splints and hip pain and not stretching properly before and after I stopped.

Joined the gym for the classes and swimming but today woke up saying going to run again. We lost the dog and missing him and our walks through the park along the seafront. So this way I just run and run1 done! Need it, loved it and promise I most stretch properly before and after. Eating terribly due to feeling sad so this has picked me right up already.

So glad that you are getting more from restarting than just the running buzz. I too am rerunning after injury in week 9 stopped me from graduating last year. It’s good coming back to C25k as you are wiser and more patient with yourself.

Losing our four-legged friends hurts and really turns life upside down. Good luck with your journey xx

Thank you! Are you starting again too? Going to continue with physio exercises too.

Hi Isal19.

This is my third attempt at c25k, so I'm hoping for third time lucky🍀 !

It was very frustrating to get to w9r1 last summer and then land on the injury couch. I had a foot injury which took a long time to heal. I tried again in September but it was too soon.

I started again a the start of January, and all is going well so far. My next run is w5r3, which should be tomorrow but I'm keeping an eye on Storm Ciara first!

It is amazing how running lifts your mood and puts a shine on things. Keep posting your progress and I look forward to seeing you make it to graduation! Happy running 😊🏃‍♀️
