I've been lurking on this forum for awhile, but didn't want to join in as I perhaps thought I wouldn't get that far on this programme after trying it (and giving up due to lack of commitment) twice before.
Today I'm thrilled to say I completed week 4 run 1 and feel amazing. I genuinely cant wait to get out and do another run.
I started this year with the simple resolution to move more. I work full time in a sedentary job and have become very conscious of the fact I move very little. I came to the realisation that I really needed to be more active to ensure I stay fit and healthy.
I work full time and have two young children and therefore have very little time to myself. I've actually found this experience really therapeutic and I look forward to spending some time by myself. It's great to just be alone with my own thoughts and switch off the world around me.
Really looking forward to next week as imexcited about the thought of running for 20 mins straight!

Welcome and well done for getting out there! I’ve found this forum spurs me on when I’m feeling like I might otherwise quit when the going gets tough. Lots of support on here and welcomed advice from others further on in the programme 😀 and hey you deserve half an hour to yourself! X
Hey, good to see you! Sounds like you’ve been bitten by the running bug. Looking forward to seeing you smash that 20 👍😁
Brilliant progress! Getting to week 4 is a real achievement and it sounds like you have caught the running bug! Good luck with the rest of your runs and keep posting to let us know how you get on. 😊 🏃♀️
Well done!! It is very important to carve out some “you” time. Remember that whether you take 30 minutes or an hour for yourself, everything else that needs to get done will still get done!!
